per a n persones, la primera dóna (n-1) petons, al segona (besada ya per la primera en dóna (n-2), la tercera (n-3) i així fins la última que ya no compta, perquè ya ha sigut besada per tots els anteriors.
Així el nombre total de petons es:
P = n + (n-1) + (n-2) + ... + 2 + 1

en el nostre cas
P = 20 x 19/2 = 190 o
